Some may have unique learning profiles - they may excel in areas of interest while struggling with organization, reading comprehension, abstract thinking, or processing multi-step instructions. Students may also experience sensory sensitivities, difficulty with transitions, or challenges with executive functioning that impact learning.
Other students face challenges like ADHD (difficulty sustaining attention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity), learning disabilities (dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, and auditory/visual processing disorders), anxiety and executive function challenges (test anxiety, perfectionism, poor time management), or language differences (English Language Learners and students with speech/language delays).
